Well done Patrick! I know how long it took you, it's excellent. However, the background could need some editing. The thick strokes, especially the yellow ones, steel too mutch attention. Some shyer colours would be better. Also, it seems to me the colour you've used as light is yellow, then the shadow cast behind him probably wouldn't be green but the colour complimentary to yellow, in other words: a more purple/blue -colour. Anyway, you should be proud. Good work.

Great work, man - Curly is right, you've improved. Good lighting and form/texture on this one. Few tiny crits: - the black lines on his knuckles are not necessary - if you've made an outline to the knight, you should also put a thin black outline to his sword as well. Good job once again

Good work. I like the paintery background. The guy's design is nice, he reminds me of a wood elf. His feet looks a bit long though, the outlines are quite sharp, and the sword's handle doesn't even HAVE outlines. Also, the light on his face seems to be coming from the side, while the shadow on the ground says it's coming from the front of the guy. You might want to check this. Anyway, nice work. I like his facial expression too.

Got a great dragon knight feel here - my crits are that the shadow he is casting seems without context and inconsistent with the rest of the image. A diffuse shadow cast directly down would probably look more natural. Furthermore the background seems very bold, sharp and bright to the point of being in conflict with the subtler, darker details of the knight.
